PROJECT RESTORE - CRITICAL REVIEW AND REWRITE OF CAST RESTORE CRITERIA

Tender description

This is an Open Call to industry, entitled Critical Review and Rewrite of CAST RESTORE Criteria Specification & Requirements and Compliance Documents, run by the Home Office Centre for Applied Science and Technology (CAST). The aim of the RESTORE Criteria is to facilitate the controlled introduction of safe, effective and reliable crime prevention, detection and remote vehicle immobilisation technologies to mitigate the effects of the criminal misuse of high risk or high consequence vehicles and loads. The RESTORE Criteria has been developed by a public private partnership, and its aim is to enable the introduction of RESTORE accredited tracking, security and remote immobilisation technologies, with safe, secure and standardised functionality, initially within the UK and then potentially within a wider market across Europe and the rest of the world.
