TENDER FOR THE PROVISION OF LANDSCAPE WORKS 2015 ? 2019 VIA A MULTI-CONTRACTOR FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT 1.1 The Council have on-going programme for the provision of landscape works for the financial years 20015/19. The Council proposes to establish a multi-contractor framework agreement and intends to appoint a maximum of 7 contractors under the agreement. 1.2 This is a framework agreement and therefore orders will be placed as and when required but without guarantee as to volumes and in accordance with the Framework Rules (Section 2). 1.3 Order values will generally be up to £30,000. However, it is possible that the value could increase on occasions, although no individual order will exceed £75,000. Within the Preamble to the Schedule of Rates, contractors may indicate the minimum value of any order to be placed with him. The Council will select contractors for inclusion on the framework on the basis of price. In awarding a call-off contract under the framework, the Council may require evidence to evaluate quality, particularly in respect of suitability for particular products, and may take into account a contractor?s performance of previous call-off contracts under the framework. A PQQ relating to the open tender was published 14/01/2015, from this a list of suppliers were selected to bid. Following a restricted tender for successful PQQ bidders, 5 suppliers have been successful and awarded under the Framework.
