Compendium of training materials and resources to improve care and health outcomes for people with dementia and their carers and a seperate compendia for people with learning disabilities and their carers.

Tender description

There is a wealth of existing information, guidelines, training materials and resources available which can assist in raising awareness, supporting professional development needs and improving the care and health outcomes for people with dementia and their carers and people with learning disabilities and their carers. However, this information is scattered across a number of websites of different organisations and education establishments. Often, If they find something that looks suitable there is often no information to distinguish one type of training from another either in terms of relevance; quality, or cost (for fee charging courses). We require a contractor to produce 2 high quality, easy to use compendiums - one on dementia, one on learning disabilities - that will signpost and direct the workforce to the most useful resources. These will bring together, all available training in one document. These documents it should provide front line staff, a one-stop-shop to find out about the diverse range of high quality courses and resources available on these subject areas.
