Cambridgeshire Extra Care and Housing Related Support - Richard Newcombe Court

Cambridgeshire County Council wishes to invite Tenders for the supply of services in respect of Extra Care and Housing Related Support for Richard Newcombe Court. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by the Council. Extra care housing is defined as specialist accommodation designed to maximise the independence of older people by providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment. Service Users retain the independence of having their own home and at the same time benefit from the availability of around the clock social care and housing support. The care and support service is expected to enable Service Users to live independently and to maximise the Service Users capacity to carry out tasks themselves. The Services shall be those services to be provided by the Provider, as set out within the service specification, and performed in accordance with the Contract. The Authority wishes to appoint a single Provider to provide Extra Care services. The contract length is three (3) years plus an optional two (2) year extension. The estimated value of this contract is between £850,000 and £1,000,000 over a 5 year period.
