The People's Projects Media and Campaign Training

The People’s Projects is the Fund’s new public involvement programme with ITV. Public voting on the programme means that applicants are required to get support for their project from the public during ITV regional news programmes. We are therefore looking to provide face to face media and campaign training for all the short list and reserve list projects (10 per region) and provide them all with an information pack they can use as a reference guide after the training. The aim of the training and the packs is to ensure the projects are prepared for the ITV filming and any publicity generated from taking part in the process as well as successfully campaign for votes. The provider must work closely with the Big Lottery Fund and ITV representatives across the UK, as each ITV region will use a slightly different programme format, and it is important the training is directly relevant to the applicants.
