Tender description

I am pleased to invite you to tender for this opportunity. Organisations should be experienced in the provision of both information services, (responding to a wide range of requests by offering information, advice and guidance as well as signposting to other appropriate services) and rehabilitation services which assists blind and visually impaired clients (in their own homes or residential settings) to learn skills to help maintain independent living. Providers will be selected on the basis of experience, capability and quality. Short listed applicants will be required to attend an interview with the selection panel, on 11th January 2016. The completed documents should wherever possible, be returned through the etendering IT system used by the Council. Should you wish to send any supplementary information in hard copy alongside the e-portal submission, please return it in an envelope/parcel attaching the white label included in this pack, to reach the address no later than 11.00 am on Monday 4th January 2016. Please note that certain mail delivery services guarantee to deliver post and packages before 12 noon the next day. Should this type of service be used and the tender application arrives after 11:00 hours it will not be accepted. It is, therefore, recommended that tender applications are posted to arrive on the day prior to the closing date. TUPE information is not provided as part of the initial tender document set. Organisations that are interested in tendering for these services should write to formally request details of the current service provider staffing information (with the specific Lot number, where applicable) associated with this contract via the Discussion facility of the electronic tendering solution (Due North). TUPE information will be provided via the Correspondence feature of Due North. You will need to upload the Form of tender, General Questionnaire, Answers to Tender questions and completed Budget Template.
