Tender description

St Helens Council is seeking a suitably experienced organisation to provide a specialist document scanning service for our historical Crematoria and Cemetery records. We are looking for bidders to provide a detailed specification in relation to their service, and their experience in handling books / documents of this age and type; in particular we are interested in how some of our more fragile records will be handled, in order to preserve their status and historic value within the Borough’s records. Potential supplier must visit the storage site for the documents on an appointment basis, in order to see the requirement first hand, before submitting a response to tender.
