PAN1156 - Artificial Turf Pitches – Infill Top Ups

Tender description

The Authority requires a company to infill each of our ATP pitches with rubber crumb granules top-ups. To complete pre-conditioning works which will include a deep decompaction, power sweep of surface and top layer of existing infill to lift and open the carpet pile. Once completed specialist machinery should be employed to evenly spread the following amounts of rubber to each surface, before brushing in so that no infill is left sitting on the top of the surface. Once spread evenly the rubber should be brushed into the surface to ensure that it does not trap and bury any fibres. The Authority will require the successful company to provide a planned drawing confirming the infill levels have passed their ball-roll tests on all areas of the ATP pitches. Quotes need to be provided as a sum total for all the work to be carried out.
