Actual CPV code is ‘75211200 Foreign Economic-Aid Related Services’. The objective of the contract is to establish and manage a Technical Assistance Facility to support DFID to implement the programme. The primary roles of the Technical Assistance Facility will be to: • Provide technical assistance and issue grants in line with programme objectives; • Establish and manage facilitation and technical assistance platforms in up to three programme priority countries / regions (Southeast Asia (particularly Indonesia), East Africa and West / Central Africa), focused on improving enabling conditions for sustainable private investment; • Finance a set of public-private partnerships to tackle deforestation and support sustainable forest management; • Develop a pipeline of potential public-private partnerships for future investment through the programme and through other channels.
