Tender description

1. The conditioning cabinet shall have internal test space dimensions, width, depth and height, of no less than 650 mm x 500 mm x 610 mm respectively. 2. The conditioning cabinet shall have an internal test space capacity of no less than 200 litres. 3. The conditioning cabinet shall fit in a footprint no larger than 1500 mm x 2000 mm and shall be no taller than 1800 mm. 4. The conditioning cabinet shall be able to maintain an internal temperature at any point in the range of -55 °C to 180 °C. 5. The conditioning cabinet shall maintain temperature to an accuracy of ±1 °C. 6. The conditioning cabinet shall be able to maintain an internal relative humidity at any point in the range of 10 %RH to 95 %RH. 7. The conditioning cabinet shall maintain humidity to an accuracy of ±5 %RH. 8. The conditioning cabinet shall be fitted with an integral humidity water tank with water level indicator or supplied with a compatible water recirculation system together with the appropriate connecting parts. 9. The conditioning cabinet shall be supplied with 2 test chamber shelves, which can be removed or adjusted within the test space. 10. The conditioning cabinet shall have a test space inspection window and lighting within the test space area. 11. The conditioning cabinet shall have at least one side entry port / porthole. 12. The conditioning cabinet shall run on single phase 240 V, 50 Hz power supply (UK mains) or three phase 415V. 13. The conditioning cabinet shall be supplied with lockable wheels/casters to aid movement of the equipment during maintenance operations. 14. The conditioning cabinet operating software shall be easy to use, intuitive and forgiving of inadvertent errors which may occur due to unfamiliarity. If the operating software is not integrated into the conditioning cabinet, a PC using Windows 7 Professional (or above) operating system, fit for the purpose of processing and analysis of the measurements shall be provided with an appropriate monitor. 15. The conditioning cabinet operating system shall have the ability to easily save and retrieve results, export data from the system so as to be imported to Microsoft programmes to enable customised reports to be produced. 16. The conditioning cabinet shall be installed, commissioned and calibrated in accordance with UKAS traceable standards. 17. An on-site familiarisation training package for up to 5 people shall be provided during the installation process. 18. Post-purchase support will be provided by Portsmouth Naval Base, BAE on-site support team.
