Halton Borough Council is proud to offer a real opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified provider to deliver a domestic abuse services for children, young people and families that are experiencing domestic abuse to ensure a co-ordinated approach for families. The service will provide information, advice and direct support to families in a variety of methods. It will give children and young people who have lived/ or are living with domestic abuse opportunities to share their feelings in an environment which is safe. The service will work directly with parents to reduce the impact of domestic abuse on parenting capacity, helping them to understand and address the impact on the child's behaviour. The service will work with young people experiencing domestic violence in their intimate relationships and to support those young people using violence in their relationships due to previous exposure to domestic violence.
