BACKGROUND TO THIS OPPORTUNITY Supply and installation of a cooling coil to the Maternity Theatre air handling unit Project Ref: C/168/ES/15/PB The existing plant arrangement on the (AHU’s) serving the Maternity General Areas and Neonatal currently provides no mechanical cooling, The contracting authority requires that an appropriately sized cooling coil, plant and associated pipework be retrofitted in the existing AHU’s and plant area to rectify this issue. BACKGROUND TO THE COUNTESS OF CHESTER HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large district General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.
