REPROCUREMENT OF A SUPPORT SERVICE FOR THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR

Tender description

This three year contract for a voluntary sector support service will be formally tendered from Wednesday 2 December 2015, with the expectation of commencement on Tuesday 3 May 2016. The draft specification is available here for viewing, and is based on experience of the current contract as well as previous consultation with the not-for-profit sector in the Winchester District. However, it is the Council’s intention to modify the specification following consultation with prospective bidders. If you are interested in submitting a tender, we would like to invite you to a workshop on the afternoon of Wednesday 18 November 2015. This will enable you to learn more about the Council’s expectations for the contract, to understand how the commissioning process will work and to comment on the draft specification, among other things. Timings will be 1.30pm to 4.30pm, and the venue at Winchester City Council offices. Further details will be provided when you book a place. We will publish a ‘question and answer’ sheet alongside the finished specification in December, based on discussions at the workshop, and will update this in response to subsequent queries from organisations and individuals preparing bids.
