RB Kingston Contract for the Provision of Co-Mingled Recyclate Services 2015/S 222-404772

Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Council (the "Council") invites tenders for the provision of co-mingled recyclate services which will be delivered to the successful Contract(s) at a single nominated collection point in two work streams. Work Stream 1 is for co- mingled recycles consisting of cans, glass and plastics, tetra and drinks cartons. Work Stream 2 is for Paper and card, news and pams. For both work streams the successful contractor(s) will be required to receive, segregate and recycle mixed kerbside collected Recyclates. The Council intends to award a contract for the provision of Co-mingled Recyclates Services for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It is anticipated that the contract award will be confirmed on or around the 27 January 2016. The initial contract will be for a period from 16 February 2016 to 31 March 2017, with the option to extend by a further 6 periods of 12 months until 31 March 2022 giving six months’ notice in writing.
