PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PIN IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION AND A FULL CONTRACT NOTICE WILL BE PUBLISHED IN DUE COURSE IN RELATION TO THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT. The Peterborough City Council ('The Council') anticipates undertaking a procurement exercise for its home care service across Peterborough. The purpose of the proposed procurement exercise will be to appoint a number of providers who are registered domiciliary and home care support providers with relevant skills and experience to deliver Personal Care and Support (Homecare) in Peterborough. The Council is carrying out preliminary market consultation in relation to the proposed procurement. Further information on the preliminary market consultation and the relevant information exchanged as part of the market consultation is available on Council's Homecare tender webpage at https://www.peterborough.gov.uk/healthcare/professionals-area/adult-social-care-providers/#tender. This PIN contains details of the Council's prospective requirements; as far as their details are know at this time. Full details will be confirmed within any Contract Notices(s) which should be referred to for further information. The Council anticipates that this procurement may includes lots. The Council may consider information and responses received as part of the preliminary market consultation to help inform the Council's options and further decision making in relation to the planning and conduct of the proposed procurement. For the avoidance of doubt, this notice is not a Call for Competition. Non-participation in preliminary market consultation shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of preliminary market consultation shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Participation in preliminary market consultation will be at each supplier's own cost. It is anticipated that the contract will be effective from summer 2016, but this date is subject to change. The overall spend on the generic homecare in Peterborough is estimated to be £7,150,000 per annum.
