Tender description
The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) is looking to appoint a number of Suppliers onto a framework to deliver Item Writing services for a range of tests. The core requirements for the Item Writing Framework include: • Drafting items (test questions) suitable for Department for Education (DfE) assessments. • Informally trialling items with appropriate age range / ability groups to derive qualitative data on item performance. • Reviewing, refining and amending the items as a result of informal trialling, expert review, or any other feedback provided by STA/DfE. • Identifying applicable metadata for each item as defined in the specific work requests. • Ensure that guidance on accessibility, diversity and inclusion for texts / items has been met. • Handover of IPR to the DfE. • Any printing required to meet trialling and handover requirements. • Presentation of items in defined templates.
