Floating Support Service for the Irish Community and Gypsies and Travellers

Liverpool City Council is seeking to commission suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide a floating support service that can meet the support needs of the Irish Community and Gypsies and Travellers The new service model will provide flexible support to prevent homelessness to the Irish Community including individuals from the Gypsy and Traveller community who are resident in the licenced site, Tara Park , in particular it will: Provide a floating support service to those people who have been identified as being particularly vulnerable to losing their home Provide resettlement support to those who need additional support in establishing a home following a period of homelessness Promote the health and wellbeing of service users, especially those with physical health, mental health and/or substance misuse issues Promote independence and access to Universal services. The Contracts will be for a period of 12 months with the option to extend for 12 months. Liverpool City Council welcomes innovative approaches from bidders.
