Tender description

Led by Derbyshire County Council, the Councils wish to appoint a single service provider for a cashless parking system who will then enter into separate contracts with each Council for a period of four years. The cashless parking system is to allow members of the public an alternative way to pay for parking to the usual pay and display machines. The Pay & display machines will continue to be available to the public. The contract has the potential to include running the residents? parking schemes in Derbyshire making use of ?virtual permits?. Tenders should give serious consideration in their bids to this concept, and demonstrate how such a scheme would work. It is possible that winning bids may be awarded without this package being included.
