Tender description

The requirement is to design and install a pair of observational boreholes near Oxted and also an observational borehole in Bromley (Ravensbourne), in order to address the network's current deficiency with respect to spatial coverage of the Kent Lower Greensand Middle GWB (Oxted) and the Bromley Tertiaries GWB for Water Framework Directive. Oxted: Drilling and completion of two permanent observation boreholes, screened separately, monitoring the Folkestone Formations and Hythe Formations of the Lower Greensand. Ravensbourne: a borehole to monitor the Harwich and Lambeth Group Formations of the Tertiary sandstone strata.
