Tender description

Coventry City Council wishes to establish a contract for a Volunteer Visiting Service to provide early intervention for families whose children are experiencing neglect and are at risk of serious harm. The purpose of the service is to provide and manage a volunteer visiting/befriending service for families with children in Coventry who are subject to a Child Protection Plan, Child in Need Plan or Common Assessment Framework (CAF) at Level 2 or Level 3. Volunteers will provide practical flexible support to families to help resolve problems, increase the confidence of parents and improve the outcomes for children and young people. Estimated Contract Value: £342,000 over 4 years (£85,500 per annum) Contract Start Date: 1st April 2016 Contract Length: 2 years initially with the option to extend for 2 x 12 months
