Provision of Internal Audit services -Leitrim County Council

Tender description

The objective of this invitation to tender is to secure the provision of an Internal Audit Service to both Leitrim County Council as an organisation and its Audit committee for a three year period. The Internal Audit Service will conduct a programme of continuous review to monitor the effectiveness of the system of risk management, security of assets and internal controls that provides reasonable assurances of security, operational efficiency, reliable financial reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The varied nature of the Local Authority activities emphasises the need to ensure that the necessary controls and priorities are in place for all services delivered.
