Tender description

The Council is seeking to contract with a provider(s), for the provision of an Independent Health ComplaintsAdvocacy Service (IHCAS), Locally branded as Wolverhampton Health Advocacy Services (WHACS) to supportpeople from all client groups who wish to make a complaint about health service(s) and also HealthwatchWolverhampton (HWW) to operate as an independent consumer champion, to gather and represent the viewsof the public in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of local care service. These two service elementswill be advertised as seperate lots - Lot 1 - Independent Health Complaints Advocacy Service (IHCAS),Locally Branded as Wolverhampton Health Advocacy Services (WHACS) Lot 2 - HealthWatch Wolverhampton(HWW) The service shall commence for a period of 3 years from 1st April 2016 with an option to extend byup to a further 24 months thereafter. Timescales For Project Milestones are as follows: Advertise Tender - 5thNovember 2015 Tender Closing Date - 7th December 2015 Quality Scoring - 8th December 2015 Moderation/Interviews - 11th December 2015 Standstill Period - 23rd December 2015 TUPE mobilisation upto - 31st March2016 Contract Signing completed by - 31st March 2016 Contract Start - 1st April 2016 (for 3 years with 2 further12 month extensions available subject to both parties approval in writing)
