Tender description
The University of Sheffield invited tenders for supply to the NAMTEC, Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe in Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: To supply, install and commission of a range of “Metallurgical Equipment”, as follows: Lot 1: Table top cut up machine Lot 2: Hot mounting press Lot 3: Vacuum impregnation system Lot 4: Grinding and polishing machine NAMTEC had a requirement for a range of metallurgical equipment for the preparation of metallic samples for further evaluation. These test pieces will be subsequently used during its research activities.
