Framework Agreement for Independent Living Support Services

Tender description

Notice for the procurement of a Independent Living Support Service on behalf of The London Borough of Newham. The London Borough of Newham (the Council) is looking to establish a framework of providers across 2 lots, capable of providing the following service outcomes across both lots: —Managing and maintaining nutrition —Maintaining personal hygiene —Managing toilet needs —Being appropriately clothed —Being able to make use of the home safely —Maintaining a habitable home environment —Developing and maintaining family or other personal relationships, and avoiding social isolation —Access and engaging in work, training, education or volunteering —Making use of necessary facilities or services in the local community, including public transport, or recreational facilities or services The lots forming the framework will be based upon fixed hourly rates set by the Council. Tenders will be assessed upon quality criteria only. The contract will run for an initial period of three years, with the potential for an extension of up to one further year. The sum shown below represents the estimated budget for the four year period. It is anticipated that the framework will consist of 15 providers for Lot 1 and 10 for Lot 2. Estimated value excluding VAT: 45 000 000 GBP
