Establishment of a Multi Party FrameworkAppointment of Design,Contract Procurement and Construction Phase Technical Advisors

Tender description

The Port of Cork proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a multi party Framework agreement with a number of service providers for Appointment as Design, Contract Procurement and Construction Phase Technical Advisors. The tenderer, which is found to be fully in conformance with the tender documentation and the most economically advantageous tender under the award criteria contained in the Invitation to Tender will be identified as the successful tenderer designate for the initial contract and will be invited to enter into a Framework agreement along with up to three (max) others and the Contracting Entity. The Framework agreement will be established on foot of a competition for an initial contract to advance through Design, Contract Procurement and Construction of those elements at Ringaskiddy East and associated works at an estimated cost of €80m. This contract will be awarded to the successful tenderer shortly after the formal establishment of the Framework.The duration of the Framework agreement will be of seven (7) years subject to satisfactory review of performance. For the avoidance of doubt, the Contracting Entity confirms that the period of any contracts awarded under the Framework agreement may extend beyond the date of expiry of the agreement.
