Design of Road Signs, Cowley Mill Area- London Borough of Hillingdon

Tender description

The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking to appoint a contractor to design and deliver signs at 37 locations within the Cowley Mill area of South Uxbridge as shown on the map and the supporting information attached to this document. The contractor is expected to provide services and practical advice upon the installation of new road signs. The signing is primarily to direct HGV drivers from the principal road network directly to the respective four industrial estates in the area as listed below; (A) Uxbridge Industrial Estate is to be directed via A4007 and Cowley Mill Road (west of Swan Bridge); (B) Swan Wharf and the City Trade Estate, which includes a Post Office Sorting Office, are to be directed from A408 Cowley Road and Cowley Mill Road (east of Swan Bridge); (C) Uxbridge Moor Estate directly from the A4007.
