1257/278/SW/N/15 Co-operating Positioner The University of Sheffield invited tenders for the supply of a Co-operating 2-axis bespoke Positioner / Turntable for use within the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, Rotherham. Scope of Requirement: The Nuclear AMRC Welding and Materials Group required a fully integrated and cooperating 2-axis bespoke positioner/ turntable for its Bulk Additive Manufacturing (AM) facility. This was required for Bulk AM and mechanised 5-sided welding. Tenders were invited for the supply of a new co-operating positioner that will be integrated with the existing robotic equipment. The new positioner will replace the existing one and must be compatible with the Bulk AM facility.
