Milton Keynes Council welcomes ITQ from organisations, for co-ordinating the planning, implementation, audit and evaluation of the Unicef Baby Friendly Initiative for health visiting/public health nursing services and Children Centre’s in the Borough of Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes Council is seeking quotation for the co-ordination and implementation of the Unicef Baby Friendly Initiative to support a ‘community of care’ that consistently promotes positive infant feeding practices in the public domain and across public services in Milton Keynes. The following are the expected key outcomes: • Successful implementation of the Unicef Baby Friendly Initiative in local health visiting/public health nursing services and Children Centres including accreditation of stage one and stage two Plus evidence of: • Increased breastfeeding initiation • Increased breastfeeding prevalence The contract will be awarded for three year (£32,000/year). The estimated total contract value is £96,000. It is expected that the service will start on 11th January 2016.
