Tender description

In this present instance, ESPO is working on behalf of Leicestershire County Council, Leicester City Council and Rutland County Council to undertake a procurement process to identify and appoint a number of service providers to provide advocacy services as detailed below. The requirement will be divided into the following lots: • Lot 1 – Independent Care Act Advocacy (ICAA) services for Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council. • Lot 2 – Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) services for Leicestershire County Council, Leicester City Council and Rutland County Council. • Lot 3 - Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) services for Leicestershire County Council, Leicester City Council and Rutland County Council. There will be one service provider awarded per lot, although tenderers may bid for some or all of the lots available and may be awarded more than one lot. The contracts will be in place for an initial period of 2 years, with an option to extend for a further period or periods up to a total of 3 years taking the contract terms to a maximum of 5 years. The contracts are intended to start on 01 April 2016. All tenderers are invited to attend a Bidders Forum on 10 November 2015. There will be an opportunity to hear from ESPO and Officers from the authorities about the contract requirements and the tender process. It will also offer an opportunity to ask questions.
