Support Contract for Ships Compass Transmission Systems

Tender description

The Authority seeks Expressions of Interest for the support and capability sustainment of Ships Compass Transmission Systems (SCTS) equipment through life. An optimal support solution is required which provides best value for money, and tenders will be sought for two different types of support solution to test the market based on (1) a traditional post design service (core plus discreet tasking) in addition to Repair and Spares support and (2) a Contractor Logistic Support Service. SCTS comprises of many equipments e.g. data distribution units, heading/Pitch/Roll/Log/windspeed & direction repeaters, azimuth circles, control units, etc, which are deployed across a high number of RN Surface and Sub-Surface platforms. This 1970s technology provides coarse and fine synchro transmissions from the ships compass systems to numerous navigation and combat system equipments.
