St Pancras Transformed: British Library Catering & Interior Design

The British Library is tendering for a design agency to work on phase 1 of the St Pancras Transformed project to include the following work: a. Develop an overall “design language” for use across all elements of this phase and possibly into subsequent phases. b. Develop cohesive design proposals for each of the areas listed, creating inviting, innovative and fit for purpose spaces for our staff, members and visitors to enjoy. c. Work with stakeholders including St Pancras Transformed Project Team, Estates, IT, Security, Cofely (the Library’s maintenance contractor), and the Library’s catering consultant to develop final designs for each area listed below. 1. A new space for a staff catering and lounge facility 2. A modified bar and seating area in our Conference Centre to support commercial and cultural events 3. A new Members area ready for the launch of our Membership Scheme in September 2016.
