Single Party Framework Agreement for Point of Use Barcode Scanning Solution (hand held barcode scanners,card printers & associated software/consumables)

Tender description

The Health Service Executive (HSE) invites tenders from suitably qualified service providers for appointment to a single party framework with an immediate award of contract for the provision of a barcode scanning solution comprising of a barcode scanning hardware & software solution including card printers and related consumables to Kilkenny General Hospital. Thereafter, as requirements arise, qualified supplier will be contacted and requested to submit competitive tender bids for specified requirements in various locations. The appointment to the framework does not guarantee exclusive rights of supply of service. The objective of this project is to implement a solution which will support the further rollout of Point of Use (POU) stock management which is one of the main elements of delivery of the PWC Logistics and Inventory Review 2010. It is expected that this will simplify the implementation and ongoing support of Point of Use systems in appropriate locations throughout the HSE.
