MHRA is looking to migrate data from their current “Devices” Lotus Notes application to a new target system (to be determined – currently tendering). There needs to be a detailed understanding of the data within the existing “Devices” application before being able to determine an approach, effort and plan to migrate Currently there is no detailed information available regarding the data. the requirement is to complete an initial assessment of the data within Lotus Notes “Devices” application: - Familiarisation of the application -- Primarily structured data with suspect integrity and free text - Review documented As-Is processes and map data - Initial clarification sessions with the business -- Determine the follow on activities and plan -- Provide a view of potential challenges and risks associated with the migration
