Tender description

Babcock DSG, acting as an Agent on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence wishes to advertise for expressions of interest for the supply of the following items: 1. Pressure Indicator CPH6400, Part Number: 46828634, NSN: 6685-99-4889703 2. Transducer 250 Barg CPT6400, Part Number: 6143962, NSN: 6685-99-4843825 3. Transducer 40 Barg CPT6400, Part Number: 5993561, NSN: 6685-99-1537515 4. Transducer 250 Barg Oxy CPT6400, Part Number: 6093590, NSN: 6685-99-2163275 Articles are to be supplied complete with Calibration & Maintenance Instructions & Procedures, Operating Instructions and ISO Calibration Certification. Babcock DSG advises potential suppliers that drawings or associated specifications are not available to issue as part of any eventual Invitation to Tender. QA Standards or equivalent: The Contractor shall hold and maintain a certification to BS EN ISO 9001:2008, issued by an accredited certification body. Interested parties should in the first instance, submit an expression of interest, together with their ISO accreditation certificate including scope to Babcock DSG’s nominated representative. Please note that Babcock DSG reserves the right to exclude any potential suppliers whose ISO accreditation does not cover the scope of Babcock DSG’s requirement. Expressions of interest should not exceed 2 x A4 Size Pages. Please note that late expressions will not be considered. The announcement of a possible future requirement is not to be construed as confirmation that a tender/contract will subsequently be issued. The issue of a possible future requirement, or the issue of an Invitation to Tender, is not to be construed as a commitment by Babcock DSG to place an order as a result of the tendering stage or at a later stage. Any expenditure, work or effort prior to any contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of the potential supplier. Babcock DSG will endeavour to acknowledge all expressions of interest within 5 working days of receipt. Should no such acknowledgement be provided, the potential supplier should take appropriate action to confirm receipt of their expression of interest.
