2 Specification of Requirements Potential suppliers are welcome to quote for upgrade options exceeding these minimal requirements. DIAS will ensure that all tender bidders will have an opportunity to quote for the actual specifications of the winning solution, either by requesting updated quotes from the tender bidders or announcing a new tender. The minimal requirements to be met by the proposed solution are as follows: - both blade servers must be compatible with the existing DIAS blade infrastructure based on Dell M1000e blade enclosure; - 2 processors (Preferably Intel based) per blade with the minimal turbo frequency of 3.5GHz, 4 memory channels per processor operating at the minimum speed of 2133MHz each and 2 processors interconnect channels operating at the minimum speed of 9.6 GT/s each; - at least 12 physical cores per processor; - at least 128 GB RAM per blade running at the minimum speed of 2133MHz (all 8 available processor memory channels must be in use); - one boot solid-state drive per blade with the minimum capacity of 120GB per drive, sequential read/write speeds not lower than 500MB/sec and random read/write speeds not lower than 50000 IOPs; - at least two 1/10 Gigabit Ethernet Ports per blade compatible with Intel ixgbe Linux driver; - an integrated remote access controller on each blade providing virtual console and virtual media facilities as well as IPMI 2.0 support; - no software installation or licence is required.
