Tender description

The Confined Spaces regulations classify the Persons nominated to work in or at Confined Spaces where work has been assessed and classified as Risk Level NC2, NC3 or NC4 under the Water UK scheme and who require pre-assessment training to prepare them for assessment in C&G Unit 822. Please note whilst we expect training to reach the standards of C&G 6150 we do not require programmes to be accredited nor delivered as C&G 6150.We are looking for one provider to provide national coverage. It is possible the provider may need to use associates to deliver this training. We expect training to be engaging and include the use of simulation facilities where appropriate, simulation facilities may be static or mobile. Mobile facilities are likely to provide the Environment Agency with greater flexibility for delegates in terms of training location and may reduce delegate travel and subsistence costs. Delegates should undergo appropriate competency assessment throughout this training. PLEASE NOTE: Providers must register through www.sell2ea.com.
