SUPPLY / INSTALLATION AND VALIDATION OF REPLACEMENT CLEAN STEAM POROUS LOAD STERILIZER

Tender description

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust are planning to replace the existing SAL porous load sterilizer in the Sterile Services Department at Chorley District General hospital. In order to meet the Trust requirements the replacement sterilizer must be installed and validated / operational by 12th February 2016. In order to minimse disruption to the department, the removal of the existing SAL machine and the location of replacement porous load sterilizer will be undertaken over a weekend period.The existing SAL machine will be isolated by the Trust at 10.00 am on a Friday morning to facilitate the cooling down of the sterilizer, prior to removal later that day. The manufacturer shall take due note and allow for all asscoaied costs in the tender. The manufacturer shall take due note of the existing plantroom services and reuse the service provision. Any decrepancies must be identified at the time of tender. The manufacturer shall be responsible for the complete installation [ inc. interconnecting pipework / electrical services ] of the porous load sterilizer / associated equipment and the ultimate performance of the sterilizer to comply/perform in accordance with EN285, ENISO 17665, the testing regime in accordance with CFPP and this specification. The manufacturer shall ensure compliance with HTM 04 [ water hygiene ] and 1999 water regulations for connections of water systems. Keywords: Sterilizers
