Tender description

Assignment under the Market Research Framework MR130001 HMRC is in the process of planning for the launch of the new Scottish Rate of Income Tax in April 2016. As part of its preparations the Department has commissioned a series of research projects to inform its communication strategy, to ensure it understands what taxpayers need to know about the new rate, and how that information should be communicated. This project is a small-scale piece of qualitative research that aims to test the clarity and content of HMRC's Scottish Rate of Income Tax notification letter through a series of focus groups conducted in Scotland with taxpayers. The research will enable HMRC to finalise the notification letter in preparation for the launch of the new Scottish Rate.
