Provision of a Taxi Service

Tender description

The Service Provider will be required to provide a 24 hour, seven days a week guaranteed uninterrupted Taxi Service. The Service Provider must be able to provide the service at short notice and without restriction as to pick-up point or destination within Dublin and the Mid Leinster area. An uninterrupted service must be available at such times as Christmas, public holidays and during major sporting, cultural and other events. Every effort must be made to keep delays to a minimum. The Contracting Authority must be advised of any anticipated delays at the time of bookings. If a delay arises post-booking the person making the booking must be advised as soon as is practicably possible. The Service Provider must provide written reports on any incidents that may occur when engaged on Peamount Healthcare related business. A dedicated Driver and Wheelchair Accessible Taxi will be required for a resident of the Hospital. This resident will be transported from the hospital to their home and back to the Hospital approx 4 times per week. This Driver when contacted must make themselves available at the time requested for the outward and return journeys without any undue delay.
