PP15088 - Community Short Breaks for Children with Disabilities

Tender description

The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking to commission Community Short Breaks services for disabled children and young people to allow parents and carers to have a break from their caring role and give disabled children and young people the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and develop skills, interests and social networks. The contract is split into 4 separate Lots, these Lots are as follows: Lot 1 – Outreach Support; for service users aged between 1 to 18 years old. This provision will take place within the Service Users own homes and community venues Lot 2 – Buddying/Mentoring; supporting service users, aged between 12 to 18 years old, to access mainstream provision and community facilities. Lot 3 – Activity groups for service users with Autism spectrum conditions, aged between 8 to 18 years old. Lot 4 – Group based community sessions at weekends and during school holidays for service users with medium to complex needs, aged 5 to 18. Suppliers that are interested and able can bid on any or all of the above Lots
