Asbestos Surveying and Analytical Services Contract In accordance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Midland Heart requires an asbestos surveying and analytical contractor, accredited by UKAS to ISO17020 and ISO12025 standards, to undertake asbestos surveys, sampling and analytical monitoring in accordance with current legislation (and any future amendment’s hereof). Midland Heart expects both Contractors to deliver this Contract across the Midland Heart Geographical scope which is indicated on the attached Map. The Contract will cover Midland Hearts Customer and Communities properties, Care and Support properties and Leasehold properties. The start date will be staggered for the Leasehold properties whilst Midland Heart completes Section 20 Consultation. The Contract duration will be for 2 years with the option to extend annually for a further 3 years subject to continuous satisfactory performance and completion of an annual performance review. The Contract start date will be the 1st April 2016 for Customer and Communities and Care and Support properties, the Leasehold properties will be handed over as soon as possible after the 1st April 2016 once the Section 20 Consultation has concluded. The total Contract value is £600,000 per annum (Inc. VAT) and is divided into two lots as follows. Full description is available on the advert attached.
