Appointment of a Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator for demolition and site clearance

Tender description

The University have recently purchased land adjacent to its Queensgate Campus and wish to begin development of the site from November 2015. The University wishes to demolish several former heavy engineering buildings and clear the site (approximately 12,500m2 in size) in preparation for future new build developments. The new site houses an existing Grade II Listed Bathhouse which the University are currently developing under a separate contract. This building must be protected from demolition and damage throughout the demolition contract process. The University is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator (QSCA) to undertake cost planning and reporting, provide advice on appropriate forms of tender and act as Contract Administrator for the demolition tender and subsequent contract.
