Tender description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) on behalf of NHS England – Lancashire and Greater Manchester wishes to procure a Child Health Information Service to cover Bolton, Stockport and Tameside localities and to manage red books across Greater Manchester The aim of Child Health Information Service (CHIS) is to ensure that each child in England has an active care record, supporting delivery of, as a minimum, screening, immunisation and the healthy child programme services. The CHIS service consists of three components: • an IT system, the Child Health Information System; • a child health records department (CHRD); • a personal child health record (PCHR), the Red Book. Bolton, Stockport and Tameside and Glossop Child Health information Service covers approximately a total of 192,000 children aged 0-19 years of age (2011 ONS population data) and is co-terminus with the respective NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups and Local Authority footprint. NECS is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with potential providers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued to potential providers and all communications with NECS, including your tender submission, will be conducted via the portal https://In-tendhost.co.uk/necs hosted by (In-Tend), the managed service provider for the NECS electronic tendering system.
