SBC ADS Provision of Heat Mapping and Energy Master Planning

Tender description

The Council is seeking a single organisation to undertake an energy mapping and master planning study of the proposed area (defined in Map 1,2,3,4 & 5) to identify potentially useful heating, cooling and power demand loads and potentially useful heat supply opportunities for the purposes of district heating development. Utilising information from Scottish & Southern Energy, the Council is also seeking an organisation to undertake a technical appraisal to understand the options for refurbishing the existing heat network including conversion from steam to hot water. This will include the impact on existing customer supplies; losses from the heat network; and the potential to free up additional capacity for network expansion.
