Arts and Health Research Project

Tender description

The Arts Council is the Irish government agency for developing the arts. We work in partnership with artists, arts organisations, public policy makers and others to build a central place for the arts in Irish life. Further information about the Arts Council can be found at www.artscouncil.ie. The Health Service Executive (HSE) is the statutory body responsible for provision of public health and social care services to everyone living in Ireland. Further information about the HSE can be found at www.hse.ie. Following discussions in 2014, it was agreed that the HSE and the Arts Council would work together in 2015 to develop a joint research project in the area of arts and health. Therefore, the Arts Council and the HSE (The Contracting Authorities) are currently inviting tenders from professional researchers or research service providers with proven expertise in the area of the arts and health to provide the required services.
