The Private Investment in Culture Survey (‘the Survey’) is the main source of information on how the private sector engages with the wider cultural sector and provides a longitudinal picture of how support has changed over the years. The information can help support organisations to develop fundraising strategies as well as benchmark performances against that of the sector. Arts Council England is aware this information is valued by the sector. Investing in this survey at this point in time is important to be able to bridge the gap between when the last survey was undertaken and now to ensure it is more reflective of the current funding landscape in the cultural sector. The chosen supplier will be expected to prepare and conduct the survey, analyse the data and produce an accessible and clearly written report.
