Temporary Buyer for European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Programme

Tender description

Lancaster University is investing heavily in its research and teaching with an ambitious capital programme. This involves considerable purchasing activity and the University is seeking a suitably experienced temporary Buyer on a consultancy basis who can work within our existing Procurement Team and support this programme. The Buyer will be expected to lead tender exercises for goods, service and works. It is anticipated that the assignment will commence in late October for 3 months and will not exceed 6 months duration. Work is expected to be full time, but applications to work flexibly will be considered. The successful buyer must have significant hands on experience of purchasing goods, services and works under the EU Procurement Regulations and ideally, should understand the stringent standards required in purchasing using ERDF funds.
