Pipeline Replacement in Trawban & Poll Ui Mhuirinn, Lettermullen 2015

Tender description

The following lengths of new pipes are to be laid: 1040m of 125mm O/D HPPE, PE100, SDR 11 pipe 610m of 110mm O/D HPPE, PE100, SDR 11 pipe 620m of 63MM O/D HPPE, PE100, SDR 11 pipe Total length of pipe proposed is 2.27km. The pipe laying will be carried out on public Class 1, Class 2, & Class 3 County Roads, with some of the pipes being laid in private lands, all in Lettermullen, South Connemara. The work also entails the removal of approx. 450cu.m of granite rock from the pipe line trenches plus road trench restoration and fitting approx. 35 pipe fittings i.e. Sluice Valves, Air Valves, Hydrants and Scour Valves to the new pipes.
