Lift Replacement Programme 2016-2018

Tender description

The renewal / replacement of approximately 30 passenger lifts in housing properties in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The service provider will need to work closely with the client and stakeholders to reduce inconvenience to residents . It will be essential to prepare and adhere to a programme for the delivery of the works so practical steps can be introduced to minimise disruption. The works will include the dismantling and removal of the existing lift and associated equipment, installation and commissioning of a new lift and associated electrical works and making good any damage due to the works. In some properties the service provider may be required to install a small storage area for prams and similar on the ground floor. The proposed form of contract is TPC 2005 with individual Task Orders for each individual lift to be replaced.
