Tender description

The Services being procured are Leisure water and spa Filtration and Treatment Engineering services, for the development of a new £26 million destination water and leisure facility in Coventry to include demolition of existing buildings. The new facility will be located within Coventry city centre on a tightly constrained site that is located in close proximity to a Grade 2* listed building (Christchurch Spire) and the High Street Conservation Area. The Council’s key vision for the development of the site is: To provide an exciting, iconic, high quality destination water and leisure facility that is accessible to everyone, draws people to Coventry and contributes to the delivery of the Coventry Sports Strategy 2014 – 2024, acts as a catalyst for the regeneration of the city centre, increases footfall and contributes to the Council’s healthy living objectives.
